IPI’s Local News & Innovation Network is hosting a virtual newsroom visit to Tribal News Network, Pakistan, to learn about their experiences building a network of citizen journalists and engaging with communities in remote areas of the country.

Tribal News Network was founded to provide accurate and reliable information for the remote regions of Pakistan, and has evolved from a radio bulletin service to a digital-first news organization. By training citizen journalists they have been able to engage these communities and produce impactful reporting on issues that directly affect them.
